AWS Discovery Day by ICS Compute is back!

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Discovery Day is designed to teach business leaders, IT technical professionals, and all IT enthusiasts the benefits of computing in the AWS Cloud, which covers AWS services for computing, storage, database management, networking, and content. We conducted this event as part of a series of activities that we arrange in collaboration with Pusat Pelatihan Kerja Daerah (PPKD) Jakarta Selatan.

On Friday September 27th 2024, we delivered the Cloud Practitioner Essentials, presented by our AWS certified instructor, along with a sign language interpreter to assist 6 participants with hearing impairment. There are overall 33 participants gathered by PPKD Jakarta Selatan coming from different education level, majors, occupations, etc. but they all have one thing in common; their passion in learning Cloud Computing. Through this event, participants learns how to use AWS services to improve business processes and gain understanding of how companies benefit from AWS security and compliance services. Participants put a lot of attention and shows high curiosity by asking a lot of questions to dig deeper about Cloud Computing, which unfortunately has to be limited due to time constraints.

But don’t worry, this is not the end of ICS Pintar and PPKD Jakarta Selatan’s collaboration! We use this event to also announce our next project to conduct a 4 day Cloud Computing class in PPKD Jakarta Selatan by this October. After the class, ICS Pintar commits to grant AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner course and exam to selected participants, for them to earn their AWS CPE certification.
